MODULES OF OUR APP


1.SITE MODULE

1.1 ADD SITE : Clicking “+” will open a site from asking for name and description of site, and will create a new site item in the list view of the main menu.

1.2 DELETE SITE : Long-pressing on an existing Site button will open up an option to “Delete Site”. If selected, this will prompt the user to confirm and will then remove all data associated with this Site.

1.3 EDIT SITE : Allows editing contents of a site of a selected site by opening the edit site form containing the data related to the site.

2.LOCATION MODULE 

2.1 ADD LOCATION : Clicking “Add Location” will temporarily replace the View with another view where the user can add a new location.

2.2 EDIT LOCATION : Allows editing contents of a location of a selected location.

2.3 DELETE LOCATION : Clicking “Delete Location” will delete all the data related to that location from the app and the backend sheet.

2.4 LOCATION PHOTOS : Here users can add many numbers of photos related to the location by either capturing it using a camera or uploading it from device storage.

2.5  LOCATION TIMESTAMP ENTRIES : This option will show the locations and the user names who visited that location.  It will temporarily replace the View with options like   “Camera”, “Text”, and “Voice” to add new notes (each note will be geo-tagged and timestamped to the nearest second), as well as a “Saved Notes” option that will display a scrollable list of all notes .

3.WAYPOINT MODULE

3.1 ADD WAYPOINT : The user will be prompted to enter a waypoint name, with an auto suggested default name “w1”,”w2”,etc.

3.2 EDIT WAYPOINT : Allows editing contents of a waypoint of a selected waypoint.

3.3 DELETE WAYPOINT : Delete a waypoint along with its details.


4.MAP MODULE

4.1 GEOTAGGED LOCATION VIEW : Allows to view saved and geotagged locations on the map, which can be seen as red colour location tags.

4.2 GEOTAGGED WAYPOINT VIEW : Allows to view saved and geotagged waypoints on the map which can be seen as pink colour waypoint tags.

4.3 NAVIGATION :Clicking on “Navigation” will take the user to google maps where they can get driving directions to the location of interest and distance. Selecting “Navigate” on a Location requires the GPS to be in the always on mode.
