1. Developing App Development Strategy - The first step of our winning process is to develop a comprehensive software development strategy. We understood that the ideal project performance is only possible when it is achieved through a carefully articulated plan.
2. Choosing Development Platform - The next step is to choose the ideal development platform. This helps us ensure the delivery of a perfect mobile application that caters to all the needs of NIAS.The authoring environment of the AppSheet platform integrates the end-to-end capabilities of app creation, deployment, and management into a single intelligent dashboard that suggests the next steps, identifies opportunities, and steers the user towards successful outcomes.
3. Designing the Best User Experience - Appsheet editor provides various tools for developing a creative UX, so we customized our app by adding themes, accent colours, fonts, different views and format options.
4. Comprehensive App Testing- In our testing process we ensured that the final app and visual elements fit perfectly well on the targeted mobile screens.
For our app we have chosen google Sheets as the backend which contains all the data associated with our app, and the frontend is the mobile device on which the app runs, which provides various user friendly views for the user to view and interact with the data. The appsheet server acts as a sync between the backend that is the google sheets and the frontend that is the mobile app.
These are the steps we followed to design our app.
- Firstly after choosing google sheets as our backend, we created multiple spreadsheet structures and defined all the necessary data within them which is required for the app.
- Next step was customizing the user experience for our app. Appsheet editor provides various tools for developing a creative UX, so we customize our app by adding themes, accent colors, fonts, different views and format options
- And in the last step we dealt with the behavioral features of the app, as to how the app would be navigating between data views, and also defining how the user would be allowed to make data changes while using the app.
Hence after the completion of the three phases, we get our final output which is ready for use by the android device.
